INGREDIENTS:

 

Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice -Rich natural source of vitamin C, which can help with the production of collagen, an important protein found in the skin and other connective tissues. Collagen helps to ensure that skin cells remain supple, firm and strong. Great healing power and high in two hormones, Auxin and Gibberellins which provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Aids in cleansing of pores and non-greasy moisturization, slowing the aging process. Increases strength tissue, helps stimulate cell rejuvenation and gives the skin a more youthful look. Contains nutrients, vitamins including C and E, active compounds, essential minerals and amino acids. Soothes and hydrates dry flaky skin.

 

Organic Jojoba Seed Oil (cold pressed): Is comparable to sebum, a waxy substance secreted by the glands in the body that protect the skin from bacteria and helps it stay supple and soft. Jojoba oil behaves the same way as sebum. In addition to holding in moisture, the oil’s natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties work to kill the organisms contributing to rosacea outbreaks as well as reduce swelling and redness. Jojoba may also boost cell division and growth, which speeds up the healing process and make the outbreak subside faster.

 

Sandalwood Hydrosol - (floral water) Excellent for enhancing skin health and beauty, especially that of dry, mature skin types. This aromatic water rejuvenates, hydrates, softens, calms redness and feelings of irritation, reduces hyperpigmentation and if used over time, reduces the effects of time (as seen in facial lines & wrinkles). Use often and liberally to nourish and restore.

 

Rose Geranium Hydrosol: Cellular regenerative. Improves signs of aging a humectant ideal for mature skin that improves signs of aging, balances irritated, dry and sensitive skin.

 

Marula Kernal Oil Tetradecane: A light, luxurious emollient and alternative to silicones, made from vegetables and Merula Kernel Oil and ideal for sensitive skin. Enhances elasticity and firmness by boosting collagen production, and it is also reputed to facilitate the healing of irritation, inflammation, redness, and chapping, especially in association with sunburned skin and conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, and psoriasis.

 

Squalane: Known as ‘Nature's Facelift'. High purity botanical lipid obtained from olives. It mirrors human lipids in molecular structure and weight and is absolutely essential oil for the skin when a regenerative effect is desired. The skin has sufficient levels when it's young, and healthy. As we age the levels drop considerably and by the time we're in our mid-thirties, and forties, we no longer have sufficient levels to maintain healthy skin. It is believed that this drop off is, in part, responsible for many of the signs of aging skin, including the tendency to become easily damaged, thinner, and lack lustre. It can help to replenish the natural levels lost through the normal aging process, contributing regenerative activity to restore a more youthful appearance, and resistance to inflammatory conditions. 

 

Lavender Hydrosol: Very gentle antibacterial with anti-inflammatory properties which are good for reducing inflammation and redness. Its particularly good for rosacea, eczema, acne and balancing both dry and oily complexions. Skin-softening, humectant, rejuvenating, and anti-aging properties.

Pomegranate Extract: Holds moisture at the surface level while allowing for a noticeable lifting effect with increased suppleness. Capable of creating immediate lifting effects and optimizing skin barrier functions.

 

Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Flower Extract: Contains unique peptides for heightened skin barrier reinforcement. These short-chained proteins trigger new collagen formation reinforced by its ability to neutralize free radicals. Capable of reducing oxidative stress, which can help to further reduce damage and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a youthful appeal.

 

Shiitake Mushroom Extract: Prevents collagen deterioration and improves the structure, organization, and quality of collagen, all of which are associated with a firmer, smoother complexion. Good for neck lifting.

Murumuru Butter: Rich in omega 3s, and 9s, as well as vitamins A, E, and C, all nutrients that help soothe and nourish damaged and irritated skin. Helichrysum Hydrosol: Gentle, soothing and powerful anti-inflammatory. Very beneficial for rosacea couperose (thread veins) and inflamed/irritated skin.

 

Hydrolyzed Algae Extract: An Algae Peptide that is a water-based active ingredient extracted from Chlamydomonas acidophila, sustainably sourced from France and bioinspired from the ecosystem where this microalga was originally found and acts as a cocoon for the skin. By inhibiting the key markers involved in inflammation, it protects the most sensitive skin from over-reactions caused by external factors, such as temperature variations, wind, friction, etc. It also prevents the skin from overreacting to nickel, a metal known to be an allergen. To do this, it inhibits the activation of basophils and immune cells and limits their secretion of histamine, a hormone involved in the allergic reaction. Sensitive skin is protected from overreacting to chemical stresses even at maximum erythema intensity and continues to reduce the visible effects of inflammation afterward.
